The body’s internal clock knows when it is time to sleep, and failure to do this only leads to high fevers and worsening your illness.
You might notice that you only crave for sweet and salty foods when you have not slept properly since there is a high increase of junk food cravings and it causes weight gain. Insomnia will only lead to increase of weight over time since you will be taking more junk food and risk of high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes and at times get coronary heart diseases and stroke. Lack of enough sleep can interfere with your sex drive plus it only increases the appearance of wrinkles, dull appearance, fine lines and dark circles under the eyes.
